Design Challenges
Every design problem is an opportunity to think differently.
This section highlights challenges I’ve faced and the creative solutions that shaped the final results.
The Challenge:
Wontech’s brochures were polished but overly machine-focused, emphasizing specifications and features with little brand storytelling. When people appeared, they weren’t representative of Western audiences, creating a disconnect for U.S. plastic surgeons and salons.

My Approach:
I analyzed competitor materials
and found the industry norm was
similarly technical: machine-centric
with Western models, but still lacking
emotional appeal. This presented an
opportunity to stand apart by rethinking
how the products were presented.
The Solution:
Instead of doubling down on specs, we introduced aspirational imagery with
a touch of sex appeal to capture attention and spark curiosity. The shift paid
off—our ads didn’t just stand out visually, they opened doors, with doctors and clinicians often starting sales conversations by complimenting the campaign.

My Approach:
I reviewed how other restaurants in
the area use social media and found most relied on straightforward food photos or generic promo graphics.
To differentiate, I leaned into Bill’s playful personality and
humor as brand assets. Using his likeness as the centerpiece,
I developed a stylized concept — fries flying
dramatically — that exaggerated the familiar while staying
tied to the brand’s fiery, grill-inspired aesthetic.
The Challenge:
Bill’s Grill needed a social media ad that would truly stop the scroll. The owner considered his face central to the brand identity (as reflected in the illustrated logo) and wanted a campaign that tied his personality directly to the food. The challenge was to go beyond standard restaurant photography and create something bold, humorous, and instantly memorable.
The Solution:
The final ad showed Bill, front and center in a chef’s outfit, joyfully tossing fries
against a backdrop of flames and grill imagery. This playful, larger-than-life concept delivered the scroll-stopping energy Bill wanted while reinforcing his identity as the face of the business. The ad didn’t just showcase the food — it sparked smiles and curiosity, making Bill’s Grill stand out from competitors and kickstarting conversations with customers.
